After the auction, the seller can choose to award the combination auction or the individual auctions to the highest bidder.

What is an online auction?

An online auction is always initiated by GSD Auctions B.V. and takes place entirely online. Bids are placed through our website and there is no fixed location for bidding.

Note: These auctions can involve items that need to be picked up or delivered. Check this information before placing a bid!

The auction has closed and I am the highest bidder, what now?

Congratulations! The auction has closed and you have placed the highest bid.

Please note that your lot may be subject to awarding. This means the lot does not automatically go to you but must still be awarded. You will see this under the 'Bid Details' section. If the lot is awarded to you, you will have 48 hours to make the payment through your account. If the lot is not awarded to you, you will receive an email.

Invoices and Payment When will I receive my invoice?

Approximately one hour after the auction closes, you will receive your pro forma invoice. You can then pay your invoice via Mollie. You can always view or print your invoice in your account.

Can I pay on location?

It is not possible to pay on location. You must pay the invoice in advance before you can collect your won lots.

Yes, we work with PostNL, DG Couriers Express, Brenger, and Magic Movers. They can help you pick up and deliver your won lots! See our partners page for more information.

Are there transport and assembly tools available on location?

There are no transport or assembly tools available on our location. You need to arrange this in advance. Check our transporters page to arrange transport.

Risk transfer

If you hire a delivery service, you enter into a contract with the respective delivery service without the involvement of GSD Auctions B.V. The risk transfer occurs when the chosen delivery service takes possession of the lots. Provide clear instructions to the delivery service. The seller is also not responsible for packing the lot for transport.

Do you deliver the won items to the home?

Check the description in the auction information of your won lot to see if home delivery is offered.

Collection; If you want to pick up your item(s) during a collection auction, you must inspect your lot on the pick-up day. If this is not done, it is difficult to determine whether the defect was already present or occurred during transport.

Do you assemble lots?

No, the delivery person delivers the lots to the door but does not assemble them.

The delivery term has passed, what now?

We try to deliver your lot within the agreed delivery term. Sometimes couriers are very busy, which can cause delays. We hope you understand! If the delivery term has passed, send an email to our customer service: info@gsd-auctions.nl.

I am not home during the delivery appointment, what now?

If the delivery person cannot deliver the lot despite the delivery appointment (which you approved/made), the shipping costs are your responsibility. The delivery person will call you to make a new appointment.

Collecting Lots I need to collect my lot, how does that work?

Your won lots can be collected at specific auctions; this information is always mentioned in the auction details. Please email us with the question of where and when to collect.

If you discover a defect in your lot on the pick-up day, you cannot get a refund immediately. If you leave your lot without informing us, it is against the rules and your account will be blocked. You must fill out a form; otherwise, your purchase amount will not be refunded.

How does a pick-up day work?

When you come to a pick-up day, you must bring the invoice for your purchase. An employee will check if the payment has been received and will take you to the lot. Note: You must take, load, and possibly (dis)assemble the lot yourself.

I cannot attend a viewing day, what now?

You cannot view the lots on another day. Our staff is only present on the scheduled viewing day. If you have an important question about a lot, ask it to customer service before the viewing day.

I cannot pick up my lots, what now?

If you bought a lot at a collection auction but cannot pick it up, you must arrange for someone else to do it for you. GSD Auctions B.V. does not ship items in this case. You can arrange for a transporter yourself! Do not forget that the person collecting the lot must also bring the invoice.

Can someone else pick up my lots?

No problem. Have your friend or family member bring the invoice!

Right of Withdrawal Can I cancel my purchase after the auction closes?

Your bid is irrevocable, and you cannot withdraw or cancel your bid.

My lot does not meet my expectations, can I cancel the purchase?

You buy the lots as-is. You cannot cancel the purchase. You are welcome on any viewing days to inspect your lot.

Can I return my won lot and use my right of withdrawal?

In some cases, private individuals can use their right of withdrawal, but businesses cannot. The right of withdrawal means you cancel your purchase and return the won items at your own cost. You must notify GSD Auctions B.V. and return your items within 14 days of receipt. After this period, this right expires.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to public auctions, execution auctions, and bankruptcy auctions.

We like clarity. Therefore, we provide delivery and withdrawal right information with each auction in the auction details.

Do you want to withdraw a lot because it is taking too long to arrive?

It is currently very busy with couriers. If your lot has already been shipped, it cannot be stopped. We ask you to wait until you receive your lot and then register it for return. You have 14 days for this.

When does my cooling-off period start?

Your cooling-off period starts the day after you receive your lot. This is 14 days. If your lot falls under the right of withdrawal, you can register it for return within 14 days. After registering the return, you have 14 days to return or deliver your lot. If we receive notifications after 14 days, the right of withdrawal expires.

Note that you must pay the return shipping costs yourself.

Can I return my lot without registering it?

Lots that are not pre-registered need to be processed manually, which may delay the refund longer than for lots that are registered. To register the return, you must send the completed withdrawal form to GSD Auctions B.V. See the 'Return Policy' page.

I want to return my lot, how do I do that?

As a consumer in an online auction with a statutory right of withdrawal, you can return the product within the cooling-off period. The cooling-off period means you can cancel the agreement without giving reasons until a period of fourteen days has passed after the day you received the product. Please kindly register the return via our withdrawal form. This can be found on the Return Policy page.
